New Updates from Nimble: Controlled Medications, Self-Serve OTCs, and Enhanced Support

The first half of 2024 has flown by and we’re excited to share what the Nimble Team has built so far this year — and what these investments mean for the pharmacy and patient experiences.

In this wrap-up, we’ll go through some of the top new features launched for NimbleRx, the changes we’ve made to improve the Nimble experience, and other exciting updates. 

Introducing Self-Serve OTC

The new OTC Enhancements experience will provide more flexibility for pharmacy owners to manage their over-the-counter offerings. Pharmacies can choose items in our global catalog and add products from that catalog. You’ll now have more control to add and remove items as well as change the pricing for any item. At a more granular level, you will now be able to:

View the OTC Product Catalog: Easily find a product by name or UPC in our global catalog. When you select a product in our catalog you’ll be able to see product details such as name, description, image, etc.

Update Chain or Pharmacy-specific Offerings: With self-serve OTCs, you can update the offering price of a product at the chain level and pharmacy level.

Recommended OTCs: Did you know that you can increase your OTC attachment rate by optimizing your OTC selections in patient check-out? Displaying 4 OTCs to patients maximizes OTC sales without impacting checkout rates.

Enhanced Support Resources

At Nimble, we’re always striving to make the pharmacy owner and employee experience a great one. This year, we’ve revamped the ways we communicate with pharmacies so support is always a click or text away.

Prioritized Support Via Email: We have created a separate, prioritized email support address exclusively for pharmacies like yours. Please reach out to your Client Partner to receive the exclusive email support address.

Support on the Go Via Text Message: We’re excited to announce a totally new channel for you to reach the NimbleRx team. You can now text us for pharmacy-facing support items like dashboard issues, log-in issues, and more. Note that this number is for pharmacy staff only and cannot be called. Please reach out to your Client Partner to get access to the pharmacy-only text support phone number.

Controlled Medication Upgrades

We’ve also been making updates to our controlled fill process which we will continue working on throughout the rest of this year. For new fills, you are able to fill Schedule 2,3,4 and 5 medications.
